• Fremantle History Museum
  The former Asylum building on Ord Street is one of Fremantle’s most significant landmarks. It now houses the Fremantle History Museum – a museum of social history of Western Australia.
• Western Australian Museum (Perth)
  The Western Australian Museum provides an insight into Western Australia's history and environment. Situated in Perth's cultural precinct and close to public transport facilities, the Museum offers a wide range of permanent and travelling exhibitions.
• The Maritime Museum (Fremantle)
  As the first Museum of the Indian Ocean, the new Western Australian Maritime Museum looks at the past and our future as a community on the edge of the Indian Ocean. With significant historic objects and boats that highlight Western Australias sporting and adventure heritage, the exhibitions tell the stories of human endeavour that bring to life our maritime past.
• Western Australian Museum (Geraldton)
  The Western Australian Museum maintains an active exhibition programme focused around its permanent installations. These permanent exhibitions are supplemented with temporary displays and exhibitions, generated from the Museum's own research and collections or in the form of touring exhibitions.
• Western Australian Museum (Kalgoorlie-Boulder)
  It began with the discovery of gold during the 1890's in an area that became known as 'The Golden Mile' and proved to be one of the richest gold deposits in the world. Of those who travelled to the Eastern Goldfields, many made their fortune, thousands didn't and hundreds died trying.
• Carnarvon Heritage Precinct
  The Carnarvon Heritage Precinct comprises the Carnarvon One Mile Jetty, the Carnarvon Tramway and the Lighthouse Keepers Cottage Museum plus many other attractions. All three of these are on the State Register and remaining elements of the port of Carnarvon, which was initially constructed in 1897.
