The museum is staffed entirely by volunteers, who devote their time to keeping the museum open 7 days per week. By joining the society you can build new skills, meet new people and add variety to your work experience.
A $1 membership fee makes you a member of the Broome Historical Society and as a volunteer you are covered by our insurance policy whilst working on museum premises.
It is a requirement of membership that you are available to assist in the museum and/or in other duties (e.g. cataloguing, collections, conservation, etc.).
